Banana Republic is a classic style board game, but the theme is based on the
politics of a small, corrupt nation.

It's all very toungue in cheek. It's really a satire, or a send up, of the stuff
people get up to to try and gain power.

Is Banana Republic difficult to learn to play?
A:
Not at all. A pamphlet covering all the rules, in an easy to understand format,
is included with the game.

What is the aim of the game? How do you become the winner of the game?
A:
A player's goal is, firstly, to become president of the country. You then have
to remain president for long enough to collect enough Medals and become
PRESIDENT FOR LIFE.

For what age group is the game? Is it for chldren? Adults? Families?
A:
Banana Republic is a game for all age groups. Younger children (10-15) may not
necessarily understand the concept of the game but they can still play along.
Adults particularly enjoy the satirical political elements.

How long does it take to play the game?
A:
Anywhere from 45 minutes to two and a half hours. Either a short or a long
version of the game can be played.

Banana Republic has been in development for a number of years, through various
incarnations and versions.

As with any game, this is indeed a possibility, even though Banana Republic has
been playtested thoroughly over a number of years. If this happens, make a house
rule. Be creative and use common sense. And please let
